Happy New Month

Image
Hi, lovelies 💞 Happy new month,  Obviously, I adore August since it's my birthday month, and also because it's when my husband and several other wonderful people in my life were born! I have this wild imagination in my head every year, where I see myself inviting all of my friends who were born in the same month to a certain location where we would celebrate from August 10 to August 21.This is due to the fact that I know at least 1 individual who is celebrating his/her birthday on those dates. By the way, my birthday is coming up on the 11th, and I still haven't decided what to do! Another month I also cherish is November this is because for some strange reason November has always been a fun month for me. Sometimes I think that if I weren’t born in August, maybe I would have been a November baby….why am I even typing this long????😂😂😂    The intent is to wish you all a beautiful August and to hope that we all have reasons to be joyful. A happy new month once more! Where

Simple things in life!

It's the simple things in life for me! The most recent time I had rain was in 2019! I usually get visions of raindrops in my imagination after talking to my family back home and hearing that it was pouring rain. Apart from the drops she sees on TV, my 4-year-old daughter has never experienced or witnessed drops in real life. We are all aware that this year's high levels of global warming are a result of human activity, including rising greenhouse gases, deforestation, industrial activity, the earth's feedback loop, agricultural activity, changes in the sun's strength, etc. Some regions of the world—including the UK, Europe, China, and some sections of the USA—experienced heat in a tremendous way this year (2022) such that it never happened before. So when I noticed the cloud started to display symptoms of rain, it wasn't such a shock! Finally, two days ago, it rained "Cats and Dogs". The majority of us found it to be an amazing moment because we had reall

Apple and carrot purée for babies.

Hello Mums🥰, When I first arrived to the UAE a few years ago, I recall how difficult it was for me to find the kind of cereal my daugther was eating.😒 I was having a casual conversation with a friend when she inquired about the brand of cereal she was on. She then suggested that I simply purée rice because it was an ingredient of her usual cereal. It lingered! I called a pediatrician, who confirmed that since most counter meals are overly processed, it is ideal for toddlers to be fed with natural meals after six months of birth instead of those from the counter. I started creating purée as a result. when  I had my second child, I did not bother with much cereal (though I tried some and it affected her poo). I always combine different fresh fruits and vegetables and make her a nutritious meal. I often feed my kids wholesome fruits of various kinds. I blend the toddler's fruits into a smoothie, and I prepare and purée the majority of the baby's fruits. I will be sharing one of

Tales often told about women.

Hey Lovies,💓 We frequently hear tales of women or ladies who got married and neglected their own needs. Usually, we automatically leap to the conclusion that she became less beautiful to her husband because "oh she became too comfy or perhaps started eating too much."😕 Actually, in my perspective, those are correct sentences to some extent. However, in the instances where it has actually occurred, don't we believe there is a reason why this occurs?  She takes care of her own, which is a terrific quality in a woman. If given the chance, the majority of women would go above and above to make sure their house is a secure place to live. The husband and child(ren) are usually taken care of first, and they frequently neglect their own needs in the process. Even though the husband is older (In most cases), there have been instances where he appears much younger than the wife. Give a woman a house, and she will make it into a home, according to an old proverb. The precise mean

Few tips on how to engage the kids during summer holidays.

Hi Cupcakes💓.  We have been enjoying the holiday for weeks here in the UAE. for 2 entire weeks! I mean, if my kid is not causing a mess in the house, watching TV, or giving me a reason to overuse the word "DO NOT," it has been really challenging for me to control her. However, the holiday has just started for other people in other parts of the world. I've been experimenting with a few ideas to keep the kids occupied, and so far I've been successful! Do you have comparable circumstances at home? Here are some of the things I have already done with them and some of the things I still intend to accomplish. To my greatest surprise, she came up with some amazing suggestions when I sat down with her and asked her what she would like to do that was fun. 1. The zoo is on the list of things to do because she wanted to go there. I consider this to be educative and enjoyable for her as well. 2. She usually goes to the parks with her friends when I take her. She actually benefit

Time to bond with the soccer lovers.

Hello Soccerlovers😁,  Since we don't watch soccer matches often at home, I suppose it's a good thing I'm not at this table (we mostly support the best team, even though I am a Man United fan, UP MANCHESTER UNITED!👹). I am aware of what this means because many of my friends' husbands watch TV nonstop throughout the season. They barely ever get the chance to spend quality time with their husbands or even watch their favorite soap operas. Some people are fortunate to see their men's team succeed. Such folks live in homes filled with love and joy. However, for some, it is a terrible circumstance for my dear pals if a team loses. I came across this tweet from a friend's status on what's app that advises us to appreciate the attention we receive from our partner. As absurd as that sounded in my thoughts as I read this tweet, I believe it to be true. If you enjoy soccer, I hope you are investing all of your attention in your spouse. If you happen to get any atte

Hey Sugarpies, They say that life is beautiful, especially when you are surrounded by those who honestly and unfailingly love and support you. After the lockdown, I was busy being a Baby girl, even though it was difficult to return to work after the online learning, and then BAM, a month into real life, we learned that baby number two was on her way.  To be completely honest, I was thrilled because I thought my daughter needed a friend at this particular time. Some women are incredibly fortunate to experience a stress-free pregnancy. Since I was primarily nauseous in my first trimester, it was a little bit overwhelming for me. Furthermore, I had to get to work really early! It actually was a pretty challenging period for me. Even more, I had a toddler who needed all the care in the world, and my second trimester was more enjoyable. I can still recall how frequently I wondered, "How did our parents manage to have up to 8 children?" (They remain the true MVPs!) The third trime

Welcome back message.

I'm excited to be back.  I sincerely apologize for the wait. Life has been going on. Going back to work and adjusting to reality after the lockdown (what an experience that was!) was a little daunting, and we later learned we were expecting our second child (I will share highlights of that journey eventually). As we all know, balancing everything was a little too much. Being in the diaspora alone without having access to extended family and all the support that entails is interesting! Well, I'm back now.  I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to everyone who supported, pushed, and helped me to restart this blog. It means a lot to me a lot. I can assure you that this time, we are going to have fun gisting, gossiping, and even ranting about different topics. I am excited about this new journey!
