Where to get your NIN in the UAE

This post is not sponsored; yesterday, I visited the NIMC office in Dubai to complete my NIN. And that was a very incredible experience. The entire process was so simple that I made the decision to share it with any Nigerians in the UAE who haven't done it yet to see if they can create a time to visit.

What is NIN?

This is a national identifying number(NIN) in Nigeria that only belongs to one person. Every Nigerian, whether at home or abroad,  it's necessary to possess it in order to either obtain or renew an international passport and all other means of identification. This has been going on for more than a decade, although its significance has not received much attention. However, just a few months ago, the Nigerian government mandated that all Nigerians must now have this national identity number (NIN) for easier data analysis. Centers for Nigerians overseas were announced by the National Identification Management Commission (NIMC). Enrolment centers are now present in nations including South Africa, Togo, Canada, Australia, UAE, and many more.

You should not worry if you live in the UAE because this information is for you! The NIMC office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays at the Conrad Tower, 19th Floor, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE. The documents you need to bring with you are an original Nigerian passport or an attestation from the Nigerian embassy, a valid ID card, or other forms of identification, BVN is also another option. To schedule an appointment, you can contact +971585407008, +97145187295, also you can register online at https:/iq-online.net/book-uae/

I hope this helps those who are unaware of this center.
